With the surge in Social Media popularity, there are a lot more ways to keep in touch with your customers. And your prospects, subscribers, hopefuls, casual acquaintances, past customers…

And if you’re not doing it religiously, you’re leaving SO many dollars on the table.

Because it’s a fact that most people prefer several contacts with a person or a company before they’re willing to consider them part of their “Inner Circle”.

Especially if you’re selling any kind of product or service, you’ve probably heard the common wisdom that says it takes an average of 7 points of contact to build your prospect’s familiarity and confidence with you to the point that they’ll consider buying from you. If you think about it, you’ll probably recognize that’s true almost everywhere.

All of those contacts don’t have to be a personal visit or an in-person phone call.

In fact, for many of them an email (or Facebook update, Twitter ‘tweet’ or SMS message on their phone) is more than enough to trigger that feeling of recognition. And to prompt an action from your reader BECAUSE they feel safe that no salesman will call!
